Benek School of Welding and Allied Technology will conduct tests for the graduating students.  This test will be witnessed by the stake holders like Nigerian Institute of Welding, Shell Petroleum Development Co. Ltd; Chevron Nig. Ltd; Mobil Producing Nig. Unlimited, Total Upstream, etc. 

Success in these tests will be a certification by Benek and the major industry employers. AWS will also use our base facilities to certify the graduates. ABS (American Bureau of Shipping) has also submitted their guide lines and standards for their qualifications. This has been included in Benek’s curriculum. ABS is happy to be invited to witness the exam. They will nominate an inspector to ensure conformity to their standards. We are still expanding the scope of existing certifying bodies to ensure that our products are widely accepted. Each of these bodies will issue their separate certificates to the graduates using the same exam or conducting a separate one as they may deem fit.
